If the commercial office tower is considered a symbol of development, RAJUK is presented as the responsible authority here to take people toward development. In addition, the enduring river “Buriganga” plays a crucial role in determining how people live in this lush delta. This design also incorporates that particular image. The built forms emerged as a vertical progression from the ground along with the water body. The circulations are based on the scale and street patterns found in the older section of Dhaka, where the streets serve as both a place for mass gatherings and leisurely strolls. The goal was to produce such a perspective at eye level so that people can perceive a sense of invitation, belongingness and purity.
