Due to the vibrant natural setting, lightweight materials were used to avoid any confrontations with the surroundings. A traditional appearance is also provided by the use of wooden windows and projected verandahs. The goal was to make them feel a sense of connectedness and belonging to nature. And this vacation house is thought to be the threshold of the nature and built environment.
ALAMIN FOREST RETREAT

Alamin Forest Retreat is designed to act as a vacation house for the Shamsul Alamin Group's owners. This project is situated near a forest setting in Gazipur. Despite the fact that each member of the family has an own home module, the overall scene maintains a uniform appearance. The essence of the outdoor forest has also been carried forward by the use of indoor plants and creepers in the exterior facades. The exterior facades have a certain degree of transparency, and the solidity has been minimized.
