Team Age & Edge Architecture Studio recently engaged with a series of significant sites across Comilla and Chattogram. The visit began with Comilla’s layered historical landscape, including Comilla World War Cemetery, Rupban Mura, Itakhola Mura and Shalbon Bihar; sites that offered insights into memory, ritual and the architectural remnants of ancient settlements. The experience extended to the shifting natural settings of Chattogram, where Guliakhali Beach and Mohamaya Lake revealed the quiet drama of terrain shaped by water, vegetation and horizon.
Together, these places encouraged reflection on how history, landscape, and built form coexist across time. They continue to inform our architectural thinking by grounding design in context, memory, and the lived environment.
